What is Web3? The Core Idea
In the simplest terms, Web3 (or Web 3.0) is the vision for a new, decentralized internet built on blockchain technology.
If Web3 explained in one sentence, it would what is web3 be: An internet where users own their data, digital assets, and identities instead of renting them from big tech corporations.
The core principle of Web3 is decentralization. Instead of platforms like Facebook or Google controlling your information on their centralized servers, Web3 applications (called “copyright”) run on decentralized networks of computers, giving control and ownership back to the users.
